2. In the picture are the Spirit-Stars who assist the Jade Emperor to rule the human world. At the center, the figure spurting the bagua is thought to be Yin Jiao, the overseer. Each one represents one year of the Jovian orbit of 11.86 years. Thus they are called "Highest Years" (Tai Sui), which, like the solar zodiac, determine the destiny. The original painting is probably from 13th century, therefore before this publication of Xu Zhonglin. It is part of Chinese Major Historical and Cultural Site.
