Chapter 27

Thank You

THANK YOU

My first thank you, as always, goes to you. I’ve been blown away by the kindness and generosity of complete strangers. There aren’t words to explain what it means to me. Thank you for giving my book some of your time. As an Indie author, it means the world. I read every comment, every tag, every caption, and every review. From the very bottom of my very full heart, thank you. I hope this book was the hug you needed.

I’d like to thank all my friends and family for the blind support they gave my first book, not realizing it was a romance. In particular, all of my co-workers, the teachers at the school my sister works, and my husband’s friends. I hope you enjoyed chapters twelve, sixteen, and twenty.

Sam. Thank you for taking every word vomit email I sent you and turning it into something beautiful. You made my cover dreams come true, despite probably hating me for a solid couple of days in December.

Annie. Every book starts and ends with you. Thanks for making me better, for answering all twelve thousand of my panicked text messages, and for distracting me with things I shouldn’t be looking at while writing a book. Let’s do this forever. I love you an Ivan amount.

Sarah. Getting to share this with you has been the best thing. Thank you for screaming at me in your edits while simultaneously correcting my grammar. Talking to you about characters and books and headcanons will always be my favorite. Love you forever.

Eliza. You are the best hype woman a girl could ask for. I’m lucky to be your sister.

E. You give me my happy every single day. The last page of this book is for you. I love you.

Ro. You made this one tough, kiddo. Thanks for going back to taking naps as I wrote the second half of this book. I’m so proud to be your mom, but also maybe sleep more.

I couldn’t do any of this without all of you.
